WHAT?! 3 MONTHS ALREADY?!

This might be the latest blog post about the end of Pangya Philippines. Three months late. Talk about timeliness.

I feel left out. When everybody’s done grieving about the loss of Pangya, here I am whining in my blog. I am only getting the hang of hitting a tomahawk shot last time I played it.

I haven’t played Pangya since new year’s eve, I believe. I was busy doing school stuff since before Christmas break ended. And so, I am really surprised that Pangya already closed.

The only good thing that happened was that I was so lazy that I did not copy the installer from the other computer into mine. Saves me from straining my muscles from clicking the mouse several times and inserting a flash drive into two computers.

Bad Writing

I was doing a routine browsing of the forums that I am a member of when I saw a topic about Bob Ong finally revealing his identity. It links to a blog site which contained a picture of who purportedly to be Bob Ong along with two ‘fans’.

Apparently, the man in the picture is not Bob Ong. The person is a member of the bobongpinoy.com yahoo group and the picture was taken in one of their EBs.

While I am writing this, the post has been edited. The post has been strikethrough-ed but the pictures are still there. The blog is still getting traffic and it’s a good thing for the owner because the blog is commercial.

The incident gives me goosebumps. What happened is not the first of its kind. There are many blogs that gives false impressions on certain persons in one way or another.

To my relief, blogs can be subject to libel.

There Can Only Be One

They aren't twins. They're homies.

The theme of the 2008 NBA Playoffs. The website shows a split screen image of the top players of each team that plays against each other in the post-season games. The theme became a hit and NBA.com even brags about the inspired Time Magazine edition that features Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton.

And now, NBA is turning into the fans. Fans can now upload their own version of the split screen images. Being the geek that I am, I uploaded an image.

I created an almost-split-screen-image. I do not have the funds to have a photo session with these two masters of the universe and so, after several Google image searches, I found pictures of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates that face almost the same angle.

It’s kinda weird that I always get ideas like this whenever I am still awake late at night. Maybe my brain is working better during night rather than in daytime. That might be the reason why I always get better scores in exams when I am dreaming.

Internet was Broken

1. I don’t know if it is the internet or my connection but for some reason, I was not able to open several websites in the last two days. I could not open random sites or even pages of a certain domain. I could open http://www.shartak.com while I could not open http://forum.shartak.com. I know little about networking and internet connections but Shartak got a free advertisement on this post.

2. Niña was back. But just for about a couple of hours. She secretly used her computer to get away from the boredom of being grounded. But that is not the Jedi way.

A blogger once more [arvin goes wordpress]

I’m going to start another blog site (I was to write “I’m going to start my nth blog” however, I lost count of how many blog sites I had). I abandoned my other sites either because I lack time in updating them or because I’m not satisfied with the features. But now, I’m in wordpress. I’m deadlier and more dangerous. But I assure everyone that I’m still senseless.

Now armed with my own computer, I will once again conquer the world (world wide web actually) with my posts that will surely captivate everyone’s appendix. [Yeah appendix. I don't know why. I'm poor in math]
